Welcome

THIS IS THE ONLY GUNSPINNING HALL OF FAME IN THE WORLD.

PURPOSE OF HALL OF FAME:

The Hall was established to honor those individuals that have made significant contributions to the sport of gunspinning.

In 1998 at the SASS (Single Action Shoot Society) END OF TRAIL festivities in California, Roy Rogers and Dale Evans suggested to Mike Chew there should be a Hall of Fame for the Sport of Gunspinning. Roy thought there should be a Hall of Fame for the art of gunspinning as the sport combines the showmanship of Buffalo Bill Cody with the dexterity with a six shooter of Wild Bill Hickok. With Roy's blessings Chew established the World Cowboy Gunspinning Hall of Fame and Museum in 2003.

The Hall of Fame is located on the old “Mother Road Route 66” at exit #82, U.S. HWY 55 south of Springfield, IL, in the Homestead Complex Restaurant in Divernon, Illinois, owned by Deputy Director Randy Williams.

Randy Williams, Deputy Director (left) and
Director Mike Chew practice some gunspinning moves in Chew's Old-West-theme backyard.
